The Office of Civil Rights Compliance (OCRC) has responsibility for:
- Managing the university’s compliance with its Non-Discrimination policy (UA-01),Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct policy (UA-03), and Employee Relationships Involving Students policy (UA-22).
- Coordinating the University's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) policy (UA-02).
- Overseeing the University's compliance with federal civil rights laws including Title IX, Title VII, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- The Student Welfare Initiative, an intensified effort to respond to sexual assault and all forms of sexual violence misconduct across campuses
